A Resounding Thank You (And This is Just the Beginning)

We want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has supported Ohana Hygiene Project New Hampshire. Your encouragement, kindness, and generosity are what keep this mission moving forward. Because of you, we feel even more driven to keep showing up for children who truly need this support.

Today I learned just how many children in one single school district are in desperate need of the basic hygiene essentials many of us take for granted. And that’s just one district — imagine how many more children across New Hampshire could benefit from this project. The need is real, and together we have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

As a mother of four — with a 22-year-old (next week!), a five-and-a-half-year-old, a three-and-a-half-year-old, and an almost two-year-old — this mission is deeply personal to me. Like many parents, I didn’t always know what was in the products we use every day. It wasn’t until about ten years ago that I started becoming more cautious, and especially in the last five years I’ve seen firsthand the impact that certain ingredients and products can have.

That’s a big part of why we’re doing what we’re doing:

Every child deserves access to safe, healthy hygiene essentials and the dignity that comes with them.

We are so grateful to be building something that can reach children who might otherwise go without.
