Today was one of those days that reminds us exactly why we do what we do. With the incredible help of a dedicated homeschool group, we came together to pack hygiene bags for students in the Concord School District. What could have been just another task quickly turned into something so much more meaningful—an experience filled with teamwork, compassion, and a shared commitment to serving children in need.
From the moment we started, there was a sense of purpose in the room. Hands moved quickly, but hearts were even more engaged. Every item placed into a bag represented dignity, care, and the belief that every child deserves access to basic hygiene essentials.
These aren’t just bags—they are reminders to these students that they are seen, valued, and supported by their community. Watching the homeschool group step in so willingly and enthusiastically was truly inspiring. Their kindness and effort made it possible for us to move closer to our mission, ensuring that these bags will reach students quickly—some as soon as the end of this week.
At Ohana Hygiene Project NH, we believe that “Ohana means family,” and family means nobody gets left behind. Today was a perfect example of that belief in action. When a community comes together, even the smallest acts can create a powerful impact. We are so grateful for every person who showed up, pitched in, and made today possible.
Because of you, children in Concord will have what they need—and that is something truly worth celebrating. Because every child is Ohana!
