A Full Heart and a Full Day!

Yesterday was one of those days that reminds me exactly why we started this journey.

We had an amazing Community Day at the Village Play Cafe—full of connection, conversation, and so much heart. We met new friends, reconnected with a familiar face, and felt the genuine support of a community that cares. It was busy in the best way, and every interaction reminded us that this mission matters.

And the day didn’t stop there.

After Community Day, my daughter Luna and I had the honor of meeting with the Mayor of Manchester, Jay Ruais. That meeting meant so much to us. We were able to share the heart behind Ohana Hygiene Project NH—why we do what we do, and who we’re fighting for.

We talked about the students we support under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act, and the importance of providing them with access to safe, non-toxic hygiene products. These are basic needs that no child should ever have to go without.

We’re hopeful that the connections we discussed—especially potential support from local Rotary Clubs—will help us continue to grow and sustain this mission. The need is real, and so is the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

We also had the chance to invite Mayor Ruais and his family to our Launch Party this Sunday at the Village Play Cafe. We’re looking forward to seeing so many members of our community come together. Our hope is simple: a strong turnout, meaningful connections, and the momentum to keep this work moving forward.

In just the past two months, we’ve accomplished so much. We achieved our 501(c)(3) status and began partnering with incredible school districts—including two that I personally attended. That piece alone means more than words can fully express. Giving back to the same communities that helped shape me is deeply personal.

We’ve already secured initial supplies for Concord School District and Shaker School District. Now, our focus shifts to raising funds to support Merrimack Valley, Pittsfield, and the 800 students right here in Manchester who need us.

And beyond that, we’re thinking ahead—building sustainable backstock so every school we serve can count on consistent support.

There’s a lot of work ahead of us. But we are ready. We are willing. And we are incredibly proud to stand in support of these students.

If the last two months are any indication, the next two are going to be something special.

Please join us Sunday 10-12 at Village Play Cafe! We’ve got some amazing items to raffle off thanks to some caring and compassionate local businesses!

Thank you for being part of this with us.
